Georges River Council is inviting members of your club to attend three free football matches between St George City and Sydney FC at UOW Jubilee Oval. The games will be between the clubs’ under 18s, 20s and first grade teams this Sunday 26 February from 1.00pm. These games are free to watch and Council looks forward to seeing you at the grounds. As discussed at Monday’s all Club Delegate Meeting, the St George Football Association will be running an RTO Workshop + Laws of the Game Overview for all new & existing RTO’s (coaches/managers). It goes without saying that temperatures at the moment are through the roof. So we do have to ask you to consider this when planning any pre-season training. SSFC committee recommends that teams contemplating pre-season training/fitness today and this weekend be very mindful of the hot weather predicted and postpone to another time. Stay out of the sun, wear a hat and sunscreen and keep hydrated at all times. Thanks all.
